The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology is in the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry at the University of Alberta. The faculty has been ranked as one of the world’s top 50 medical schools.
As a department with a strong clinical focus, we are dedicated to the education of competent and caring physicians. We offer obstetrics & gynecology training to undergraduate medical students and residents, and a fellowship in urogynecology.
The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology is also home to a vibrant, world-class research program for candidates wishing to pursue a master’s degree or PhD, and a career as a medical investigator. This is offered through our basic science division – the Division of Reproductive Sciences.
